White Girl Gangsta
Of the few things I miss from home, comedy sketch shows are one of them. Of course the good thing about watching comedy sketch shows in the US is to go on about how bad they are most of the time and not funny. But occasionally they issue something stellar. This isn't stellar, like, for example, the SNL spoof of the first presidential debate, but it's pretty fucking entertaining. And lord knows we can all use some entertaining about now. Thanks to boing boing for the heads up and the image.

Sorry, guess I was a little too vauge there, it happens sometimes. Wanted you to watch the little video promo for the show, it has a bunch of little clips. The last bit is the lead lady saying that she just got a bikini wax and that it was like sliding down a sandpaper banister. Seems you were talking about shaving issues not too long ago, that was all.
Wow, from one extreme to the other.
ky- I did watch it, had to download the latest version of real player and anything. She makes a comment about dating at the end... I just heard someone use yesterday, "it feels like I'm giving birth to a sandpaper baby." A slightly more descriptive, yet similar sentiment!

A million years ago there was this comedian named Tom Lehrer, he was a funny singer. One of his openers to college kids was-Are you ready to slide down the ravorblade of life?
Shudder, I loved that.
Not a million years ago.... the Masochism Tango is one of my favorites! ;)
